Nano Vacuum, a leading supplier of high-tech scientific research equipment in Australia and New Zealand, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with QuantWare, the global leader in superconducting quantum hardware and creator of the VIO QPU scaling technology.

Through this partnership, Nano Vacuum will distribute QuantWare’s fully packaged quantum processing units (QPUs) and traveling wave parametric amplifiers (TWPAs) across Australia and New Zealand — empowering local universities, research institutions, and quantum technology companies with streamlined access to the most advanced superconducting quantum hardware available.

QuantWare has already made a notable impact in the region by powering Australia’s first National Quantum Computing Testbed at the University of Queensland. This new partnership builds on that foundation, enabling the broader Oceania quantum ecosystem to scale faster and access critical components for building next-generation quantum systems.

“This is a game-changer for the quantum research ecosystem in our region,” said James Carter, Founder and Director of Nano Vacuum. “We’re proud to make QuantWare’s powerful technology accessible to the local scientists and innovators shaping the future of quantum computing.”

In addition to ready-to-use QPUs and TWPAs, customers in the region can also access QuantWare’s Foundry Services through Nano Vacuum — offering custom qubit chip fabrication for teams seeking to fast-track their progress toward utility-scale systems, powered by QuantWare’s scalable VIO architecture.

“We’re happy to expand our global reach by partnering with Nano Vacuum, a trustworthy distributor with strong experience supporting scientific institutions,” said Matthijs Rijlaarsdam, CEO and co-founder of QuantWare. “Australia and New Zealand have vibrant quantum ecosystems, and we look forward to supporting their development.”

The partnership is now live, with product consultations and technical support available through Nano Vacuum’s regional team.
